Last updated September 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BMB (“BMB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use https://getbmb.com and the BMB application (collectively, the “Service”).

BMB is construction job-cost software for businesses. The Service is available only to users invited by an authorized administrator of a company using BMB. BMB is not intended for consumer or personal use.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Your company’s authorized administrator may provide or manage information about users of the Service, including name, email address, company affiliation, role, and sign-in credentials.

Company Data

BMB collects and processes the information your company and its authorized users enter, upload, import, create, or connect through the Service. This may include projects, estimates, budgets, schedules, purchase orders, bills, invoices, files, customers, vendors, items, cost codes, account information, and other job-cost, operational, or financial records.

QuickBooks Online Information

QuickBooks Online is an optional integration. If an authorized administrator connects your company’s QuickBooks Online account, BMB may access and process the QuickBooks information that your company authorizes, which may include customers, vendors, items, accounts, bills, and related payment or expense information.

We do not receive or store your QuickBooks Online password.

Usage and Technical Information

We may collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, such as log information, browser or device information, IP address, error reports, and activity within the Service.

  • Enable optional QuickBooks Online connections and requested data transfers
  • Protect the security, integrity, and availability of the Service

We do not sell Company Data. We do not use Company Data for targeted advertising.

How QuickBooks Online Works

Connecting QuickBooks Online is optional and may only be initiated by an authorized administrator of the applicable company.

When an authorized administrator connects QuickBooks Online, the administrator authorizes BMB through Intuit’s connection process. BMB may use the authorized connection to read QuickBooks Online information and, when directed through the Service, send approved information to QuickBooks Online.

Your company is responsible for reviewing information before it is sent to QuickBooks Online. BMB does not control QuickBooks Online, Intuit’s systems, QuickBooks Online availability, or changes made within QuickBooks Online.

An authorized administrator may disconnect QuickBooks Online through the Company page in BMB. Following disconnection, BMB will remove or revoke stored connection credentials within a reasonable period, subject to limited backup, security, legal, and operational retention needs.

Storage and Security

BMB uses reputable third-party service providers to host, operate, secure, and support the Service.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through BMB. These safeguards include access controls and encryption where appropriate. However, no system, transmission, or method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing of Information

We may share information only as necessary to:

  • Provide, host, operate, secure, maintain, or support the Service through service providers acting on our behalf
  • Enable a QuickBooks Online connection that your company has authorized
  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request
  • Protect the rights, property, security, or safety of BMB, our users, or others
  • Enforce our Terms of Use or resolve disputes
  • Complete a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, or similar event, subject to applicable law

We do not sell Company Data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data Ownership and Company Responsibility

As between BMB and your company, your company retains its rights in the Company Data it provides to or creates in the Service.

Your company is responsible for determining which users may access its BMB account, the accuracy of Company Data, and whether the use of BMB complies with applicable laws, contracts, and company policies.

If you access BMB as an invited user, your company administrator controls your access to the Service and may add, remove, or change your access.

Retention

We retain Company Data while your company maintains an active BMB account and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain backups, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, protect the security and integrity of BMB, and comply with legal obligations.

If your company closes its account or requests deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify Company Data within a reasonable period, except where retention is necessary for backups, legal obligations, accounting records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Your Choices and Access

If you are an invited user, contact your company administrator to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your account.

If you are an authorized company administrator, you may manage users and certain Company Data through the Service. For additional requests, contact your company administrator or the contact method your company uses for getbmb.com.

Your company may disconnect QuickBooks Online at any time through the Company page in BMB.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including QuickBooks Online. Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers. BMB is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or practices of third-party services.

Children’s Privacy

BMB is a business service and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method.
